1. Data controller

The controller of your personal data is the RemZone Warszawa car service, with locations at: Mokotów, Ojcowska 2 and Białołęka, Brzeziny 6 (Warsaw, Poland).

2. What data we collect

Contact data: name, phone number, email – when you submit a request or book a visit.

Vehicle data: make, model, VIN, mileage, fault description – for diagnostics and repair.

Technical data: IP address, browser type, cookies, website analytics data.

Payment data is processed only to the extent needed to settle the cost of work.

3. Purposes and legal bases

Performance of the service contract – handling requests, booking, repair, warranty (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).

Consent – marketing messages and optional cookies (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).

Legal obligations – accounting, warranty obligations (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR).

Legitimate interest – customer communication, site security, analytics (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

4. How we use data

To contact you, agree the scope of work and the quote, and carry out and warranty the repair.

To improve the site and service through anonymised analytics.

To send information about services and offers – only with your consent.

5. Data sharing

We do not sell your data. We share it only with trusted processors (hosting, analytics, payment services) acting on our behalf, or where required by law.

Some services (e.g. analytics) may process data outside the EEA with appropriate safeguards in place.

6. Cookies and analytics

The site uses cookies for correct operation and analytics (including Google Analytics). Optional cookies are set only with your consent.

You can manage cookies in your browser settings.

7. Retention period

We keep data no longer than necessary for the stated purposes: order data – for the warranty period and as required by law; marketing data – until consent is withdrawn.

8. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to: access your data, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, object to processing, and withdraw consent at any time.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority – the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (PUODO) in Warsaw.

9. Security

We apply technical and organisational measures to protect data (encrypted connection, form protection, restricted access). In the event of a data breach we act in accordance with the GDPR.

10. Children

The site is not intended for persons under 16; we do not knowingly collect their data without parental or guardian consent.

11. Changes to the Policy

We may update this Policy. The current version is always available on this page with the update date.

13. Instagram and Facebook messages (Meta)

We reply to customers on Instagram Direct (@rem_zone_warszawa) and Facebook Messenger through our internal RemZone CRM system, connected to the Meta Platform. When you message us, we receive and store: your technical Instagram/Facebook user ID, public name and username, public profile picture, the content of your messages and attachments, the time they were sent, and our replies.

We do not receive your password, private posts or follower list, and we never post anything on your behalf.

The data is used only to answer your inquiry, book your service visit and keep a history of our communication (Art. 6(1)(b) and 6(1)(f) GDPR). Only authorised RemZone employees can access the CRM. Data is stored in a secured database (Supabase, hosted on Vercel); an AI assistant may draft replies, which are always reviewed by a human before sending.

Retention: up to 3 years after the last contact, unless the law requires longer.

Data deletion: send us an Instagram message saying "Delete my data", call +48 726 856 008 or email kontakt@remzone.pl. We will delete your conversation history and profile data from RemZone CRM within 30 days and confirm it to you.

Our use of Instagram and Facebook data complies with the Meta Platform Terms and Developer Policies.
