Fuel system repair
A clean, healthy fuel system
The fuel system feeds the engine. We restore stable delivery – injectors, pumps, filters and diagnostics to bring back power and cut consumption.
Why your car needs it

Dirty injectors can reduce combustion efficiency by 10–20%.

Unstable fuel pressure causes power dips and jerks under acceleration.

Clogged filters load the pump and speed up its wear.

Improper fuel delivery raises consumption and overloads the engine, leading to repairs.

Translated from UkrainianGreat workshop. They found why my parking lights weren't working – simply oxidised contacts. Cleaned them and didn't even charge me. Recommend!

Book now →Most often it's clogged injectors or a fuel filter – fuel is delivered unevenly, and the engine compensates with higher consumption while producing less power.
Yes, significantly – impurities and water in poor-quality fuel foul the injectors and the fuel pump faster than normal wear does.
Depending on the make – usually every 30,000–60,000 km, and for diesel cars the interval is often shorter due to the sensitivity of common rail injectors.
In some cases yes – chemical cleaning on a bench without disassembly. If the contamination is critical, the injectors have to be removed and each one ultrasonically cleaned separately.
Most often it's uneven fuel delivery due to dirty injectors or a faulty fuel pump – we check the pressure in the system to pinpoint the exact cause.
Yes, especially for precise measurement of rail pressure and injector condition – a standard OBD scan only sees general fault codes, not the exact operating parameters of each injector.
Fuel system repair at the RemZone workshop
Unfortunately, even buying good-quality fuel is no guarantee that your car will not need fuel system work before long. Two types of fuel delivery system are in use today: petrol and diesel. The fuel system's main job is to deliver petrol or diesel along dedicated lines to the internal combustion engine. It comprises the tank, fuel lines, feed pump, pressure regulator, injectors and the fuel filter that cleans the fuel. In service – and particularly after filling up with poor-quality fuel – any component can fail. That may call for injector cleaning, pump replacement or other work best left to professionals.
RemZone is a workshop in Warsaw providing complete servicing for cars of every make and model. We have ample experience (more than 10 years), we are ready to take on repairs of any complexity, and our prices are reasonable. You can see for yourself by contacting our managers, who will advise you in detail on any question.
How do you know the car is due at the workshop?
Timely diagnostics, repair and flushing of the fuel system are what keep a car running reliably for years. Most manufacturers recommend this procedure at least every 10,000 km. Sticking to the schedule helps catch a fault in time and put it right.
On diesel engines the injectors should be cleaned at least once every two years. High-pressure pump repair may also be required, since a faulty pump directly affects how the whole system performs.
Signs that your car is due at the workshop: an unstable idle, a drop in engine power, high fuel consumption, unusual noises from the exhaust, a strong smell of fuel in the cabin, or puddles of petrol or diesel under the car.
Fuel system failures and the need to repair the high-pressure pump are most often caused by normal wear. Problems arise from carbon deposits and dirt building up on the most vulnerable parts. Do-it-yourself repair is not advisable, as it can lead to greater damage and expense – especially since Warsaw, and Poland generally, has plenty of good service stations ready to help with any problem. At RemZone, for example, we have all the equipment needed to make an accurate diagnosis and fix the fault.
What fuel system repairs do we carry out?
Customers most often come to our Warsaw workshop for injector cleaning and high-pressure pump replacement. We also replace the regulator and controller, flush and replace fuel lines, fit new sensors and carry out other work.
Recommended service intervals
Fuel system service intervals vary with the make and model of the car, the type of engine, fuel quality and operating conditions.
For petrol engines:
- Filter – replacement recommended every 40,000–60,000 km.
- Injector cleaning – recommended every 50,000–80,000 km.
- Fuel pump check and replacement if needed – every 100,000–120,000 km.
- Tank and lines – should be checked every 20,000–30,000 km.
For diesel engines:
- Filter – every 20,000–30,000 km.
- Injectors – every 70,000–100,000 km.
- High-pressure pump – every 120,000–150,000 km.
- Tank and lines – at every scheduled service.
Our workshop can carry out the full range of fuel system diagnostics and repair, including injector cleaning. We offer high quality, prompt turnaround and fair prices. For a detailed quote on the work you need, call our manager.
