Reliable driveline performance in any mode
The driveline sends torque from the gearbox to the wheels. We fix play, vibration and leaks – CV joints, driveshafts, bearings and seals – restoring smoothness and response.
Why your car needs it

Even slight driveline play loads neighbouring parts and speeds up wear.

Worn bearings and CV joints increase vibration and noise at speed over time.

Torque losses reduce performance and worsen handling.

Leaking seals and boots quickly destroy the components.

Translated from UkrainianGreat workshop. They found why my parking lights weren't working – simply oxidised contacts. Cleaned them and didn't even charge me. Recommend!

Book now →The classic sign is clicking on a loaded turn that disappears when you straighten up. We check it on a test drive at full lock, not just by eye on the lift.
Yes, and it's the cheapest option – but only while no dirt has got into the joint. Left alone, a split boot turns an inexpensive job into a whole new CV joint within weeks.
Often it's the driveshafts or the centre bearing – a worn part vibrates specifically under load. That's why we check the driveline together with the suspension: the symptom is identical for both.
No. In many cases replacing a single CV joint or an output shaft seal is enough. The quote shows both routes – repair and full replacement – with the difference in price and service life.
A gearbox or differential leak is barely visible at first, and it ends with the unit running low on oil. An inexpensive seal can end up costing you a gearbox repair.
The warranty covers the parts fitted and the installation work. If a repeat symptom turns out to come from something else – the suspension, say – we record that separately during the check, transparently and without automatically writing it off as a warranty case.
CV joint repair and replacement at the RemZone workshop
The constant velocity joint is an important part of the drivetrain: it transfers rotation from the gearbox to the wheels while allowing them to turn. It is used most often on front-wheel-drive cars, and when it wears out it is generally not repaired – the outer CV joint is replaced, and sometimes the cage and balls are changed. If the joint itself is sound but the boot is damaged, with visible cracks or splits, the CV boots need replacing.
It is essential to have the work done as soon as possible to avoid a major drivetrain overhaul. The RemZone workshop in Warsaw will help with that – we offer good terms and affordable prices on every service.
Why do CV joints fail?
Premature wear and the need to replace the outer CV joint are usually caused by water and dirt getting in while the car is in use, though other factors cause damage too. Failures often happen simply because the parts wear out – the joints in particular are permanently under load. Boots split, and this is the component most often replaced: without it, dirt and water get inside and the joint quickly fails. Flooring the throttle, driving through potholes and constant off-road use will not be tolerated by the suspension for long.
How do you know a CV joint needs replacing?
You can tell there is trouble with a CV joint or its boot quite quickly – the car will let you know. A clicking or cracking noise on turns, especially at low speed, is the first warning. The steering wheel or body starts to vibrate, sometimes with a noticeable shudder. Cracks or splits appear on the boots – this cannot be left, the boots must be replaced. Traces of grease on the inside of the wheel or under the car mean it has already escaped and the joint is unprotected.
What does the replacement involve?
When we replace the part on your car, the process runs roughly like this:
- First we run a diagnosis – inspecting the boots and joints and checking what is damaged.
- We remove the wheel and brake disc to reach the drivetrain comfortably.
- We take off the old part, which means removing the fixings and circlips.
- We clean the mounting area of old grease and inspect it carefully for damage.
- We fit the new part and renew the boots and grease so everything runs smoothly.
- We reassemble everything and test it to confirm the car works correctly.
The RemZone workshop in Warsaw offers the full range of CV joint diagnostics and replacement services.
You can book replacement of inner and outer CV joints, which must work properly for the car to be safe and reliable. We replace inner and outer CV boots – needed when the joint itself is fine but its protective cover has been damaged. We fit new driveshaft seals to prevent transmission oil leaks and keep dust and dirt out of the mechanism. We repair halfshafts, and during the work a halfshaft seal may also need replacing. Every service is affordably priced; see the company's price list for details.
How to make a CV joint last longer
For the longest possible life, the part needs proper care: check the boots regularly for cracks, renew the grease in good time, and avoid harsh braking and driving over rough surfaces.
