What is cashless repair
It’s a settlement method where the repair cost is covered directly by the at-fault driver’s insurer, through their mandatory OC (third-party liability) policy. You don’t pay for parts, labor, or paint. The workshop settles directly with the insurance company, and you simply pick up your fixed car.

Step by step: how it works in practice
1. Secure the scene and gather information Photos of both vehicles’ damage, license plates, the accident location. The at-fault driver’s details and their OC policy number. If the other driver denies fault, is intoxicated, or anyone is injured – call the police.
2. Report the claim The claim is filed with the at-fault driver’s insurer (not your own), ideally as soon as possible after the accident.
